LX. Um é bom… dois é ainda melhor!

O Duplo de Perseu é um regalo para os olhos quando observado por um instrumento que proporcione um campo generoso. Os meus binóculos 15×70 e o meu telescópio com uma ocular de distância focal mais elevada (como a Plossl 26mm) mostram este objecto fabuloso em todo o seu explendor… de uma vez só! Na verdade não se trata de um objecto mas de dois. Dois enxames abertos angularmente, e físicamente, proximos.
A dupla formada pelo meu telescópio e pela D40 também formam um bom par para capturar estes enxames, preenchendo estes últimos praticamente todo o campo do CCD da câmara.
Pena é não poder rodar o corpo da máquina e centrar os objectos a meu gosto. O interface Anel T - Focador é de enroscar, não me permitindo posições intermédias.
No entanto, a posição obliqua dos enxames na foto talvez até lhe dê um charme especial. :)

ONE IS GOOD… TWO IS EVEN BETTER!

Perseu’s Double Cluster is a wonder for the eyes when observed with an instrument that provides a generous field of view. My 15 x 70 binoculars and my telescope with a longer focal length eyepiece (as my 26 Plossl) show this object in all its fabulous explendor … at once! Actually, this is not an object but two… two Open Clusters next to each other, angular and physically as well.
The pair formed by my telescope and my Nikon D40 also makes a good double to capture these clusters, filling almost the entire CCD’s camera field.
It’s a shame I’m unable to rotate the camera’s body and compose the objects to my taste. The interface T Ring - Focuser it’s screwed to the focuser and It does not allow intermediate positions. However, the diagonal position of the clusters in the picture may give them a special charm. :)
