LXXVIII. The Pinwheel galaxy

90 segundos!!
This galaxy is not an easy target! It has a reasonable magnitude of 7.90, but a surface brightness of only 14.90.
The image is the result of 15 90 seconds exposures (~ 22min) with the D40 at ISO400.
90 seconds! Without guinding! My LXD55 is running like a clock.
I took a few more shots but when I realised the corrector lense was opaque with humidity.
Light polution was also very strong.
This galaxy needs a lot more exposure!
